Nkrumah’s administration yielded many developmental laurels.
Factories, Roads, Bridges, Schools, State Farms, free portable water, reliable and almost free electricity, hospitals, houses, national cohesion, etc, etc, etc.
Kotoka, Harley and Afrifa period brought a systematic destruction of the awesome generational gains of Nkrumah.
Busia came and we are yet to be told on what he added.
Busia’s retrogressive landmark achievement was to “depanafricanise” the star of Ghana.
General Achaempong though failed in inviting Nkrumah home immediately, did a little in pursuing the BLUEPRINTS of Nkrumah.
The 1979 elections opportunity for the PNP lacked an ideological team work and cohesion to revitalise the uncompleted 7 years development plan to fit into the then period.
The PNDC who had progressives ready to serve both in and outside the intellectual world were ready to sacrifice to totally tranform Ghana but got caught up in an undefined ideological direction, making many vulnerable with others running into exile.
The PNDC, nonetheless, made some gains like the rural decentralisation efforts but unfortunately divested all the abandoned factories of Nkrumah into the hands of Neo colonialist.
We are yet to be told on which one is operating.
Painfully was the total neglect for not completing the Tarkwa Gold Refinery which was left with 5% completion.
Had the PNDC achieved that the replica effect on our economy would have been great till date.
The question is what went wrong?
Was is still the hatred agenda against Nkrumah?
The 4th Republican administration has been a huge opportunity for opponents of Nkrumah, who couldn’t defeat him not for the 66 evil event,to use this dispensation in an attempt to undo his Herculean achievements.
The future is still with Nkrumaism and the 7years development plan, which was going to ensure that by 1975,Ghana was billed to import labourers and cleaners because each Ghanaian would have before 1975 become a skilled worker.
Long live Nkrumaism.
…And our own Dr. Thomas Mensah, with such an innovative mind and patriotic zeal, is advocating that both the government and the private sector should team up to help Ghana to leapfrog by investing in 5G technology and High Speed trains. For, we should recall that Nkrumah leapfrogged Britain when he intervened for GBC TV to go colour instead of black and white as management then wanted to mimick British broadcast technology. This foresight of Nkrumah enabled Ghanaians to enjoy colour TV before the Brits.
What Dr. Mensah is preaching is that Ghanaians at the helm of modern advances in technology must be encouraged to help the nation to MAKE UP, CATCH UP AND SURPASS. Using himself as an example, having risen up from humble beginnings to become one of the world leaders in fiberoptic and nano technology, he sees no reason why Ghana cannot overcome underdevelopment.
Just think about Tema, Akosombo Hydroelectricity, Regional Housing Estates, Schools, Colleges and Universities, Research Institutions, Agricultural Plantations, Social Security, and Pension Provision, Workers’ Rights, Unitary and Secular State as it is such foundations that keep Ghana alive.
Tsikata was so blinded and destroyed the CPP and replaced it with the NDC. Now his buddy NADAA is seeking to destroy Nkrumah and replace him with Danquah. The Dukadaya are blinded by greed and ingratitude. Without the critical support of the CPP, Kufuor could not have won two elections.
Kufuor is an exception as he showed gratitude by bringing Fathia’s body from Egypt to be buried by her husband, Nkrumah. NADAA lost in 2008 because he slighted Nkrumah and without the brain and hands of renegade Nkrumaist, Freddie Blay, NADAA could not have won 2016. Nkrumah’s development vision and foundations are keeping Ghana alive.
THE LIFE ASSEMBLY MISSION PREACH LIBERATION THEOLOGY FOR AN ALTERNATIVE GOVERNMENT TO THE DUKADAYA. A GHANA UNION MOVEMENT (GUM) HAS JUST BEEN REGISTERED WITH THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO PROPAGATE, NATIONWIDE, THE IDEALS AND PRAXIS OF THE OSAGYEFO KWAME NKRUMAH . GUM’S MESSAGE IS NKRUMAH IS BACK – THE CORNERSTONE THAT THE BUILDERS REJECTED IS BEING PUT BACK . SUCH IS THE MISSION OF GUM. THE VISION IS ALL-ROUND ACCELERATED NATION BUILDING ON THE STRENGTH OF VIABLE ECONOMIC COMMUNITIES.
Organisation therefore demands responsibility, the very best. We organise ourselves first before we deploy armed with a clear Nkrumaist vision of the new society we want to create in our collective national and PanAfrican interest.
We must know and recognise ourselves first and foremost. We must be disciplined and united by a regular course of study and work (with the work clearly defined by local conditions and needs). This is to build loyalty to the Nkrumaist cause.
“When two, four, six or more are gathered in the Nkrumaist/PanAfricanist cause there is joy in our Ancestral Abode”. Are those members of this platform who live in the Greater Accra Area mentally prepared to “gather” and plan their way forward? What about those in other regions and districts? Are we prepared to FACE THE PHYSICAL REALITY AND DEMANDS OF ORGANISATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY? Are we mentally prepared to move from the comfort of our armchairs to join a WORK-STUDY GROUP to initiate a neighborhood/constituency Nkrumaism Pedagogy campaign?
Do we feel the liberating impulse to take on the challenge of organisation and the responsibility that comes with it? How many of us would truly answer to a call for us to gather to serve the Nkrumaist cause? Such is the challenge facing us. The challenge of moving from virtual reality to physical reality. TO FACE OUR REALITY WE MUST TAKE POSITIVE ACTION NOW!!! ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS!!!!
I beseech you, the younger generation, to seize the time and take over the task of organisation as the time is now. TIME IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET. SEIZE THE NKRUMAIST TIME AND MANAGE THIS PRECIOUS ASSET IN ORDER TO CREATE A NEW SOCIETY AFTER OUR OWN IMAGE AS INDUSTRIOUS AND INNOVATIVE PEOPLE WHO CREATED CIVILISATIONS BEFORE. AND IF WE DID IT BEFORE, WE CAN DO IT AGAIN. This is what I call NKRUMAISM IN POSITIVE ACTION.
We must organise or perish in stupor.
As a nation it is in our own interest to liberate ourselves from the vice and entrapment of the valueless US Dollar backed only by the bullying might of the US Federal Government. To beholden unto the US Dollar is to be trapped in an inflationary abyss as the US Federal Government just print and print and print dollars and float them as currency. They make their fake currency current by the threat and use of violence and weapons of mass destruction.
US President Nixon acted in his national interest when he pulled US out of the Gold Standard. We therefore lend currency to the US Dollar when we us it as our medium of both external and internal trade. The US Dollar is a fraud engineered by the Federal Gangster Government run by cartels of vested interest.
OUR FATHER’S HOUSE IS GHANA and it is Ghana that has to be cleansed. Such is the challenge facing all Nkrumaists.
It’s painful but healthy to accept the fact that remnants of the CPP Old Guards who tied the fortune of the CPP to Captain Tsikata got outsmarted by the (P)NDC. Quisling Tsikata, the confidence trickster, used Botsio, Tettegah and Ebo Tawiah to first corrupt and destroy the CPP.
Now what Nkrumaists are confronted with is the willful destruction of the iconic stature of Nkrumah by NADAA and the NPP by using state power to revise Nkrumah and his influence out of history and our contemporary life. The revisionist agenda of the NPP is real and it is a continuation of the CIA-backed agenda of the NLC/PP (Afrifah/Busia) periods.
Simply put, Tsikata was assigned to destroy the material evidence of Nkrumaism by selling off, destroying or abandoning strategic industrial, manufacturing and agricultural assets of the nation.
Now, the assigned task of Tsikata’s fellow traveller, NADAA, is to spiritually efface Nkrumah from the memories of Ghanaians. What we see happening before our very eyes is the willful deemphasizing of Independence Day, African Union Day, Republic Day and Founder’s Day. These sacred days are spiritually linked to the iconic stature of Nkrumah. We ignore these facts at our own peril.
IT IS OUR FOND MEMORIES OF THE IDEALS AND PRAXIS OF NKRUMAH THAT KEEP NKRUMAH ALIVE.
YES, NKRUMAH NEVER DIES but only on the strength and evidence of what we have built on what he left behind. Praise singing is not enough but it is the task of nation building we address ourselves to that makes true the adage: NKRUMAH NEVER DIES! And we can only address ourselves to the task of nation building by organising to capture state power from the Dukadaya. Nkrumah devised the blueprint to decolonise Africa and it is this challenge of exposing, opposing and deposing neocolonialism that faces us now. We have the blueprint with which to organise and act.
So have we been taught from long ago by Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah himself.
Accordingly, no progress can be made by those laying claim to being Nkrumaists in Ghana today, so long as those on this platform refuse to take up the simple task of establishing even mere Homework Help Clubs (HHCs) in their constituencies, and rallying those willing, regardless of party political affiliations, to carry out Sustainable Development Action Plans for Community Regeneration (SDAPCORs) in their constituencies.
This KNII WhatsApp platform has become the usual one of the many where most of the participants merely repeatedly indulge in Nkrumah praise-singing without the required attention being paid to the very necessary basic organisational work for the conscientization, empowerment and mobilization of the masses for practical Changemaking.
We do not need people who merely show how much they have read and can scholarly interprete the writings of Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah; we need more of those who are prepared to utilise even the little they know for Positive Action! For, as the Osagyefo himself put it: Theory without Practice is empty; and Practice without theory is blind! Yes, Revolutions are brought about by youth, men and women who think as people of Positive Action and act as people of radical Changemaking Thought!-Cesprgh Mawuli Kofi Klu.
